Thailand's 2011 Election
Today is Sunday July 3rd 2001, a very momentous day for the Thais as they choose the right candidate for their 2011 election. There are 47.3 million registered voters with 90,860 polling stations scattered across the nation. Moreover, some 3 million voters on June 26 cast their votes for the advance polling.
Yingluck Shinawatra, the younger sister of former Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra is fighting her way to grab the seat away from the caretaker Prime Minister Abhisit Vejjajiva. Today is the first election of Thailand after political unrest in 2009 and 2010 and the second after the military coup in 2006.

The question now is - Who will triumph in the Prime Minister seat in the Land of Smiles?
